Paul A. Schkade, M.D.

Dr. Schkade is a native of Texas. He earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington and his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He then entered military service and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. After 3 years as a practicing Internist in Germany, he completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and the National Jewish Center. He remained in Denver teaching doctors from Fitzsimons, National Jewish and University of Colorado. In 1995, he left military service and entered private practice in a large multi-specialty group in Arkansas. After his children finished college, he accepted an invitation to return to Colorado at Denver Allergy and Asthma. Dr. Schkade has remained active in lecturing to physicians regarding newer treatment modalities in the areas of allergy, asthma and immunology. His interests outside of medicine include skiing, woodworking, riding motorcycles and hiking with his wife.
